Stage 1 Parkinson’s is the mildest form out there. It may involve some symptoms, but they are generally mild enough that they don’t interfere with normal, everyday tasks or one’s lifestyle. At this stage, it’s common for symptoms to not even be recognized as Parkinson’s. The stage of the disease and the age at disease onset determine which group is most useful. Braak staging of Parkinson's disease gives six stages, that can be used to identify early stages, later stages, and late stages. The Hoehn and Yahr scale is a commonly used system for describing how the symptoms of Parkinson's disease progress.
